Meijer, Jacob
(1912-93)
   Dutch historian, author and poet. He was born in Winschoten, and taught history at the Jewish Lyceum in Amsterdam in 1941-3. He was deported to Bergen-Belsen in 1944. After the war he taught history in Amsterdam, and later in Haarlem. He published studies of the pre-war history of the Jews of the Netherlands.
